"The part that I enjoyed about the conference was getting perspective on what other countries are doing to foster sustainable practices that affect the life below surface. Many people work passionately in their respective fields, and it is great to be able to connect the dots, where organizations can collaborate"

"Coming from a non-ocean background, the conference sure gave me lots of insights on what is happening to our ocean. My organization is indirectly working to stop the use of single-use plastic bottles, so that coming from a non-environmental background does not matter because you can always learn while working for the better future. "The part of this conference that I find most affecting me is the beach clean-up. At the same time, this prevent certain amount of waste going to the ocean and raise awareness and knowledge about ocean, waste categorization and so on. "

"It was a real pleasure to meet you at the Youth, Ocean and SDG 14 conference. It was so inspiring hearing the 'eco leaders' of the future share their ideas and current projects in their communities. Thank you so much for including me in the panel discussion. I am really looking forward to keeping in touch. "
